HAPI Outing at Camp Explore

Camp Explore's headquarters and base camp can be found in Mount Purro Nature Reserve, in Barangay Calawis, Antipolo City. It is at the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountain ranges surrounded by nature. Reforestation and community development work started in 1998. The facilities and amenities were formally launched in 2001.

It is a natural setting for camps, teambuilding, trainings, retreats, mini-conferences, strategic planning, outdoor/environmental/community involvement classes, workshops, and rest and recreation with families and friends. The air is fresh and it is mostly windy in the afternoons and cool at night and early in the morning.

Mount Purro Nature Reserve has facilities conducive to suit your professional and informal events with the exceptional benefits of a very comfortable and beautiful setting at a very reasonable price.

Conference Hall

The conference hall is a multi-purpose area that can be designed to your function. It can accommodate maximum of 300 people at one time. The hall is open, providing visitors with an unobstructed view of nature. It has a garden-like bathroom within the area and is annexed with an outdoor kitchen. We are equipped to provide you with bamboo tables, monoblock chairs, and electric fans when needed.

Mini-Conference Room

The mini conference room is ideal for smaller meetings and can fit up to 60 people. It has a bathroom within the area. Similar to the conference hall, the mini-conference room is open, providing visitors with an unobstructed view of the trees surrounding the room.

Bonfire Area

What is camp without a campfire? Experience the bonding created around a campfire! Cozy benches and natural rock-stones are situated around the campfire. Together with the cool breeze and the starry skies that envelop the campers, the campfire is guaranteed to bring out fun and fond memories.

Asian Lounge

The Asian Lounge has a lot of Asian-inspired furniture that is inviting for visitors who simply want to sit back and relax. It is a calming space that may also be converted into a Meeting Room for small groups.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is surrounded with a view of the mountains. It uses a special health care system that reduces the use of cleaning chemicals that is very ideal for very sensitive skin.

A camp isn't complete without a Mess Hall! Our Mess Hall doubles as a reception area and one of our main dining areas. The vigan tiles, the long, hardwood tables, and the paintings welcome the participants and make them feel right at home!

Ropes Courses

All our high and low ropes elements are not permanently fixed in order to keep the integrity of our ropes and equipment. As such, we put them in proper storage and away from outdoor elements, when not in use. Should you be interested in using the ropes courses, we require that we are informed at least 3 days before your event. A separate package is required for use of the ropes courses, which includes setup fees, riggers, facilitators, ropes, harness, helmets, and other equipment necessary.

High Elements: Slide for Life (zipline), Catwalk, Rappel, Rope Bridge

Low Elements: Spider's Web, Teepee shuffle, low V, high V, etc.
